Natural Berry Grapevine Wreath

Procedure
Grapevine wreaths are mostly preferred for making wreaths as they turn and twist naturally thereby, offering the best base for crafting these decorative items. In addition to this, you can affix almost anything to this base like dried flowers, Christmas balls, glitters, and sprays. A 16-inch grapevine wreath is used and stems of berries of different colors and shape are weaved through it. You can use your own creative skills to create wreaths of different patterns and designs.

Grapevine Wreath With Artificial Berries

Materials Required
  • A grapevine wreath of desired size
  • Plastic berries
  • Craft glue
  • Spray paint of different colors
  • Powdered glitter
  • Satin ribbon
  • A paintbrush
Procedure
All the above mentioned materials are easily available from any local crafts-shop and that too at very reasonable rates. Each of the berries is coated with the spray paint and the stems are applied with the powdered glitter mixture. Then, using a medium sized paintbrush, the stems of these artificial berries are applied with a generous coat of the craft glue and powdered glitter is sprayed over them using a spoon. The excess glitter is then shaken off and the branches are allowed to dry. Then, using a floral wire, each of these branches is fixed to the grapevine wreath ensuring at the same time that there is no gapping between these branches. This being done, a satin ribbon shaped in the form of a bow is added to the top of the wreath and secured with the use of floral wires. Then a monofilament or a loop of wire is attached to the wreath and secured with a thumbtack.
