Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
Steps To Follow
  • Melt butter on low heat
  • Add cocoa powder and stir.
  • Let the mixture cool.
  • Add milk and vanilla essence.
  • Refrigerate for 3 to 4  hours
  • Make small chocolate balls out of the mixture.
  • Next, roll these balls into powdered sugar before keeping them on a plate.
  • Keep chilled until served.
Christmas Pie

Ingredients
  • 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup green creme de menthe
  • 2 cups of whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/ 7-ounce jar of marshmallow crème
  • Maraschino cherries
Steps To Follow
  • Mix together melted butter and crushed cookies.
  • Spread this mixture into a pie pan
  • Refrigerate for several hours
  • Mix together creme de menthe and marshmallow creme until well blended.
  • Fold in the whipping cream.
  • Pour into pie pan over cookie crust.
  • Top it with maraschino cherries.
Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
  • 100 g dark cooking chocolate
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 90 g butter
  • ½ cup walnuts (peeled)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • Oil for greasing
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
Steps To Follow
  • Sift flour and baking powder. Keep it aside
  • Chop walnuts
  • Grease a round microwave dish and line it with butter paper.
  • Mix chocolate and butter in a microwave bowl and Microwave it on HIGH (100%) for one minute.
  • Beat in sugar, eggs, and vanilla essence till they blend well.
  • Add the sifted flour and nuts into the mixture and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased bowl. Cook it uncovered on Microwave high (100%) for seven minutes.
  • Allow standing time of five minutes.
  • Place on wire rack to cool.
  • Cut into squares and serve with tea or coffee.
Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 .5 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Steps To Follow
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Stir together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Keep aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Gradually blend in the ingredients.
  • Roll dough into balls, and place them onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden.
  •  Let stand on cookie sheet until two minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
