The Choicest Christmas Tree

The Christmas Tree need not be huge to look divine and sparkling. It has to be appropriate. The too large Christmas Tree may look good in a palatial hall with a high ceiling but may leave smaller space to walk around freely in a smaller room and be more of a nuisance than a specialty. The wiser ones determine the place to keep the Christmas tree, the height of the ceiling and the floor area of the room before hand and then decide, what kind of tree to buy. The diameter of the trunk of the tree should be compatible with that of the tree stand that you have. The tree should weigh only enough, not to make the stand wobbly. If you are an opting for the real tree, you will have to leave room for water too, so that you don't have to refill the stand again and again.

A real tree is easier to decorate, if it has smaller needles. The branches should have enough places between them to allow the decorations to hang freely and be visible at their best. The decorations that are hung straight make the tree look better and more organized. Buy only the fresh tree so that it won't shed too many needles or boughs. As you bring the real tree home, a fresh cut on the trunk of the tree will make it absorb water more quickly. Keep refilling the stand with the lukewarm water to keep the tree fresh for longer period of time. Refills should be done before the water level can dip below the base of the trunk. A huge tree needs to be secured properly to the floor or the wall while any imperfect branches may need to be trimmed with scissors almost parallel to the floor to make the cuts subtle. Trimmings of the Christmas tree are not a waste!. Use them creatively for other Christmas decorations around the home such as in Christmas centerpieces.Christmas Tree
