Easy And Fun Christmas Crafts

Light Bulb Santa

What You Need
  • Acrylic paints in white, red, black, skin and pink
  • Gold cord or ribbon
  • Burnt out light bulb
  • Black marker
  • Hot glue
How To Make
  • In the centre of the round part of the bulb, paint an oval for Santa’s face with skin color acrylic paint.
  • Next, paint the entire remaining round portion of light bulb with white acrylic paint.  Paint entire remaining round portion of light bulb with white acrylic paint.
  • Paint socket of the bulb white for hat and neck of the bulb as red.
  •  Allow to dry completely.
  • Using black acrylic paint make two dots for eyes.
  • Use black marker to draw on smile on Santa’s face.
  • Dip clean paint brush into pink acrylic paint. Dab off excess paint onto newspaper or on paper towel. Gently blotch on the paint for pink cheeks pink cheeks.
  • Use more white paint to touch up Santa’s beard and hat brim.
  • Using hot glue stick on a loop of ribbon or golden cord at the top of the bulb.
  • Hang on Christmas tree!
Cinnamon Ornaments

What You Need:
  • ½  Cup applesauce
  • Cookie cutters
  • ½  cup ground cinnamon
  • Oven
  • Wax paper
  • String/ ribbon 
  • Rolling pin
  • Toothpick/ drinking straw
How To Make
  • Mix applesauce with ground cinnamon and knead well to form dough.
  • Sprinkle some ground cinnamon on a smooth surface. Place the dough between wax paper and roll out.
  • Cut attractive shapes out of the rolled dough with the help of cookie cutters.
  • Make a hole on the upper side of the ornaments with the help of a toothpick. This will serve the purpose of putting in ribbon/ string for hanging.
  • Use drinking straw, if in case you want to make bigger holes in the ornaments.
  • Place the ornaments on an oven tray and bake it at 150 C, till completely dry.
  • Next, slide in the ribbon or a string through the hole and decorate your house by hanging them around.
Paper Christmas Stocking

What You Need
  • Thick brown paper
  • Hole punch
  • Glue
  • Glitters and crayons
  • Pencil , scissors
  • Wool
How To Make
  • On a brown paper, draw a large stocking.
  • Next, cut out two identical shapes of the stocking.
  • Paste together the edges of the two stockings.
  • Don’t glue the top opening.
  • With the help of hole punch, punch holes around the edges.
  • Weave wool in and out of the holes.
  • Leave a loop of wool and tie it in a knot at one end.
  • Decorate the stocking with crayons, glitters, and paper cut outs.
