The best way to keep them busy is to give them a pair of scissors some color paper and a glue stick; they will be glued to the seat for hours for sure. At least you can have a peace of mind doing your household chores. This not only gives the kids to spend their time it can also help them develop their creativity. Kids should be constantly encouraged for creating something new that can make them as well as their parents proud. At the end of the day you will find a real craftsman in your child. Light Bulb Rudolph

What You'll Need
  •  Brown, white, black and red color Acrylic craft paint
  • 6" thin gold ribbon
  • White vinegar
  • 3 brown chenille stems
  • 1 small jingle bell
  • 1 black chenille stem
  • Red or silver glitter glue
  • Burnt out light bulb
  • Paintbrush
  • Hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  • Sealer spray
  • Black thin tip marker
How To Make
  • Clean the light bulbs using vinegar.
  • Paint and let it dry overnight
  • Paint it with a second coat and let dry for 2-3 hours.
  • Put a dot of hot glue on the screw cap. Put the end of a brown chenille stem on the glue. Wrap the chenille stem around the screw cap and gluing it as well.
  • Before continuing with the second chenille stem, bend the black chenille stem in half.  Now you glue the open ends of the black chenille stem to the brown twists you just added. Continue wrapping the brown chenille stem around the ends of the black chenille stem .You can bent the third chenille stem into antlers. Squeeze it together so the both ends meet. Glue it to the back of the chenille covered screw cap
  • Dip your thumb in red paint and gently press to make a red nose.
  • Dip your pointing finger into white paint to make two eyes on it.
  • Let the bulb be dry and then glue the bell threaded with the golden ribbon.
  • Paint the black of the eyes. Smear a little silver glitter glue over the top of the red nose.
  • When dry, spray the entire light bulb with sealer spray and let dry by hanging somewhere safe.
Reindeer

What You'll Need
  • 1 red glitter pom pom
  • 2 glitter gold chenille sticks
  • 6-8 inches of ribbon
  • White craft glue or hot glue gun
  • ¼ sheet of light brown craft foam
  • 2 medium wiggle eyes
  • Scissors
How To Make
  • Cut two tear drop shapes from the foam for making the head.
  • Cut two oval shaped eyes also.
  • Make two antlers by twisting the chenille stems
  • You can glue the ears toward the top of the tear drop shapes. Glue antlers to the top of the same oval shape.
  • Fold ribbon in half and glue the open ends together in between the two antlers to make the antlers
  • Glue the oval shapes back to back making reindeer's head. This sandwiches the ears, antlers and hanger inside the two tear drop shapes.
  • Glue on wiggle eyes.
  • Glue on red pom pom for nose at the pointed end of the tear drop.
